Q: Will the DAC-7 work with an SE-2000?
A: The DAC-7 would not be recommended in this application, because it will only convert analog to SD SDI, not HDSDI. The SE-2000 switcher only supports HD SDI signals.
Q: I have an Se-2000 and the DVI-D connections are no longer working and I need to connect a computer for CG. Will the DAC-9P work with the SE-2000?
A: The DAC-9P would work if the source is scaled to the global preset of the switcher. For example, if the switcher is set to [email protected] and the computer is providing the same format output then the DAC-9P is a good choice. If you are unable to match the preset of the switcher, then I would recommend a DAC-70 converter because it has the ability to scale to the required resolution.
