If you need to find the IP or MAC Address (Media Access Control) of one of our products on a network and don’t have access to a router, try the following command (works with Win Prompt and OSX Terminal):
arp –a
this gives you the IP Address and associated MAC Address (aka Physical Address) of every device on the network that the computer you’re using is on.
You can alternately use software like Wireshark to monitor all network activity to try and find the IP Address.
