
Datavideo is pleased to announce a significant firmware upgrade for the entire 4000 series of professional video switchers. This update enhances the system’s flexibility and performance by enabling 12-channel UHD 4K29/30P input, transforming the 4000 series switcher into a more powerful 4K live production solution for broadcast, AV, and hybrid production environments.
Previously supporting up to 8-channel UHD 4K50/60P, the 4000 series can now easily switch between 8-channel high frame rate mode and the new 12-channel 29/30P mode, offering production teams greater versatility for different workflows and event requirements.
The firmware upgrade applies to the entire 4000 series product lineup, including the SE-4000, SE-4000MU, and integrated studio models, HS-4000, MS-4000 and OBV-4000. With this update, users benefit from:
