Can CG-500 import AVI or MOV files with transparency?

A: CG-500 only accepts VXMOVIE files. These files you can create with the VxMVMaker, that is installed with CG-500. You can stack images to create a movie, like a .GIF file. You can also import a GIF file and convert to VXMOVIE. (GIF supports alpha channels/transparency).

To make .AVI/MOV with transparency (Lagarith codec) work in CG-500 you should convert to .GIF first, and then to .VXMOVIE. There seems to be no other way.
