Datavideo today announces that the all new BC-200 4K Block Camera is now shipping.
The BC-200 is Datavideo’s first compact block camera that can support up to 3840x2160 UHD resolution. With its 70.7° wide viewing angle, the BC-200 is an ideal camera to use with the KMU-100 4K Multicamera Processor.
BC-200 has superior Sony optics that feature 1/2.3” high definition 8.93 M Pixels progress CMOS sensor with 12x optical zoom. One of the unique components that sets it apart from other 4K cameras is the digital noise reduction, which delivers excellent image quality in a dark environment. It also comes with an IR remote to access the menu, adjust zoom and iris control.
BC-200 has two HDMI outputs as well as support for Sony VISCA protocol, making it easy to integrate into many different applications including city council, live events, and seminars. It is also housed in a rugged durable chassis for optimal protection.
“BC-200 is the perfect camera for any 4K live video workflow”, says Craig Moffat, Managing Director of Datavideo US. “With two HDMI outputs, I can ISO record an event from one output and still have another output to connect to a 4K switcher or KMU-100; simultaneously”.
