A Comprehensive Worship Solution for Malacruiz Dayro Chapel
At Malacruiz Dayro, the bishop house of the Jacobite Syrian Christian community in Puthencruz, Cochin, Datavideo has implemented an advanced live production setup to elevate the worship experience for attendees and online participants.
Enhanced Coverage with Professional Camera Installation
Two strategically placed cameras ensure comprehensive coverage of rituals and prayers:
Seamless Connectivity for Reliable Performance
Both cameras are integrated using media converters that convert HDMI and LAN signals to optical fiber. Each camera is paired with dual transmitters for high-quality signal transmission over long distances without degradation.
In the chapel office, the SE-2600 video switcher and RMC-300A camera controller are linked via receiving media converters. This setup allows streamlined management of live feeds. The SE-2600, with its 8-channel switching capability, enables smooth transitions between wide and close-up shots, ensuring professional-grade video production during worship services.
Output to LED Walls and Streaming Platforms
The SE-2600’s output feeds into multiple LED walls—a large central display and three smaller ones within the chapel—providing excellent visibility for the congregation.
For online audiences, the video output is converted to USB-3 using the CAP-2, then connected to a PC running OBS software. This facilitates live streaming of services on platforms like YouTube and Facebook.
While the NVS-35 was initially considered for streaming, the CAP-2 was chosen for its cost-effectiveness and alignment with the chapel’s specific requirements.
Delivering a Transformed Worship Experience
With this integrated solution, Malacruiz Dayro Chapel now offers an enhanced worship experience, engaging both in-person attendees and a global online audience. A detailed solution diagram is included to illustrate the setup.
