Datavideo HDR-80 DVIP Control Protocol

Dernière mise à jour:2025/01/20

What is this Document?

The HDR-80/90 Control Protocol allows external systems to control Datavideo HDR-80 and HDR-90 recorders over RS-422, RS-232, or Ethernet (DVIP). It enables reliable remote access to core functions such as recording, playback, and media management.

Designed for seamless integration into professional AV workflows, the protocol uses a structured command format, 38400 bps transmission rate, and TCP-based communication for stable and responsive control. With support for Datavideo’s DVIP protocol, developers can easily integrate HDR-80/90 into multi-camera productions, conference recording, or automated lecture capture systems.

DVIP

DVIP (Datavideo Virtual IP) is Datavideo's proprietary IP-based control protocol, enabling remote control of compatible Datavideo devices over a network. It supports bi-directional communication, allowing seamless integration of PTZ cameras, switchers, recorders, and control panels. DVIP is scalable, works with multiple devices, and can be integrated with third-party systems for automation and advanced production control.
